The Scotch 8959 bi-directional filament tape is reinforced with continuous glass fibers in both the transverse and longitudinal directions together with a polypropylene back with biaxial orientation. The multilayer synthetic rubber adhesive prevents the fiberglass from being delaminated from the back. Being translucent, it is possible to read marks, codes and other indications through the tape.
