      Differences between CR2 & 3:


      - CR3 have cable detection feature so that if you have smart cable then it automatically detects cable type and there is no need to reconfigure the CR.


      The CAMremote-3A (CR-3A) is highly integrated miniature remote control device for cameras and camcorders. Several digital cameras/camcorders from Canon, Nikon, Ricoh, Pentax, Sony, Panasonic, Olympus and BlackMagicDesign have a remote control feature which utilizes the Wifi, USB port, an infrared signal, Remote Control Port, LANC remote interface port or Multiterminal Interface port.


      The CAMremote is a USB On-the-Go device which has USB host and device functionality. It has also Wifi support so camera can be controlled without wires.  It can control the camera's remote features like shutter, zoom, aperture/shutter speed values, etc. In addition, CAMremote has an integrated intervalometer which will trigger the camera automatically after a predefined time. The  infrared support of the CAMremote can be used with cameras where no USB remote control feature is available but which have an infrared sensor.

      The Remote Port support can be used mostly with SLR-cameras which has dedicated port for remote control. Using Graphical User Interface software which runs on Windows operating systems, CAMremote can store settings for up to seven different camera and/or servo motor configurations. Switching between stored settings is accomplished by pressing an onboard button or remotely using radio control.

      • Trigger the video shooting using USB/CHDK method

      • Controls camera parameters like shutter speed, exposure, focus, etc. using USB/PTP or USB/CHDK method
      • Controls the camera lens open/close and sleep mode control using USB/PTP or USB/CHDK method
      • Controls Tilt (vertical) and Pan (horizontal) servo motor control for manual/automatic photography
      • Rotating angles of servo rotors are fully configurable
      • Programmable intervalometer for automatic photography
      • Battery monitoring and undervoltage protection for Lithium accus
      • Ability to connect a 2 or 3 channel R/C receiver or any external switch or electronic device to control the CR
      • 7 PC configurable profiles for different settings or different cameras selectable in the field
      • Four on-board LED's to indicate active profile or status of the device
      • Camera settings easily set in the field for use with CR
      • Multiple camera triggering when CRs are connected together (for example stereo photography)
