Hall effect sensors are taking their place. Many of the glitches and quirks we face from our servos are due to the potentiometers becoming dirty or plain old, worn out. So here we have the new MS servo series from KST with its hall effect sensor and a carefully aligned magnet taking the place of the potentiometer. With this no contact, position sensing system we are a step closer to the day when sketchy, twitchy, double centering servos, will be no more.
Reliability and precision are the name of the game with these alloy cased, hardened steel geared, digital coreless servos. Its very high specs is appropriate for many high demand uses including high speed gliders, helicopters and sport planes
As with the KST X12 in the MS320 the top of the casing is also made of a harder aluminum alloy, thus improving long-term clearances.
It is a high voltage servo, supports LiPo batteries up to 8.4V. And exceptional speed of up to 0.075s. torque 6.2kg
